Detailed Eligibility:

Educational Qualification:

For Junior Research Fellow:

• Master’s degree in Zoology / Life Sciences with Zoology as a major subject in undergraduate course from a recognized University with a minimum of 55% marks.

For Senior Research Fellow:

• Master’s degree in Zoology / Life Sciences with Zoology as a major subject in undergraduate course from a recognized University with a minimum of 55% marks.
• At least one publication in SCI Journal and should have completed at least two years of post M.Sc. research experience

For Post Doctoral Fellow:

• Ph.D. or equivalent degree in Zoology/ Life Sciences from a recognized University in India and having 3 years of research/ teaching experience (duration of Ph.D. to be considered as research experience) in a recognized Institution/ University after M.Sc. with at least two research papers in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journals.

Upper Age Limit (As on 30.09.2020):

• Junior Research Fellow: 28 years
• Senior Research Fellow: 32 years
• Post Doctoral Fellow: 40 years

Post Wise Vacancies:

• Junior Research Fellow/ Senior Research Fellow: 20 posts
• Post Doctoral Fellow: 05 posts

Fellowship:

• Junior Research Fellow: Rs.12,000/-
• Senior Research Fellow: Rs.14,000/-
• Post Doctoral Fellow: Rs.47,000/- [Rs. 49,000/- & Rs.54,000/- subsequent years based on performance and recommendations of the committee.]

ZSI Recruitment Selection Process:

• The candidate will be shortlisted on the basis of their qualification and experience.
• Shortlisted candidates will be informed through email and or speed post for appearing before an interview committee.
