Detailed Eligibility:

Educational Qualification:

Diploma Technician (Mechanical) / (Electrical):

• Regular / Full Time  Diploma in Engineering / Technology in Mechanical/ Electrical / Electrical & Electronics Engineering disciplines after 10th Standard from a recognised Institution / State Board of Technical Education.
• The aggregate of all Semesters / Years of Diploma in Engineering / Technology with 60% & above for OBC and 50% & above  for SC/ ST candidates

Upper Age limit (as on 01.03.2020):

• OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates: 31 years
• SC/ST candidates: 33 years
• Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) candidates: 38 years

Disciplines & category Wise Vacancies:

Diploma Technician

• Mechanical: 04 posts (SC – 01, ST – 01, OBC – 02)
• Electrical: 11 posts (SC – 05, ST – 02, OBC – 04)

Remuneration:

• Basic Pay + Personal Pay: Rs 16,820/-
• Other benefits & allowances as per entitlement (approx.): Rs 26,280/-
• TOTAL (Approx): Rs 43,100/-

HAL Recruitment Selection Process for Diploma Technician:

• Selection will be done through Written Test
• Candidates will be shortlisted for Written Test, based on the marks secured in the Qualifying Examination i.e. Diploma in Engineering / Technology.

Scheme of Exam:

• The test will be in three parts, comprising of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
• Part-I will consist of 20 questions on General Awareness,
• Part-II will consist of 40 questions on English & Reasoning.
• Part-III will consist of 100 questions on the concerned Discipline.
• The Written Test will be of 2 ½ hours duration.
• Each question carries one mark each and there is no negative Mark

Written Test Place – The Written Test will be held at Bangalore

Cut-off percentage of Marks:

• For SC/ST Candidates cannot be less than 50%
• For OBC candidates not less than 60%

Educational Qualification:

Faculty of HRD Programs/Skill Development Programs:

• NAC/Diploma/Degree in the respective area from recognized University/Board with minimum 10 years working experience in industry/academics

Trade Apprentices/Supervisory Development programs:

• Degree/Diploma in the respective area from recognized University/Board with one/two years post qualification experience respectively in the relevant field Or
• NTC/NAC in the trade with 3 years of post-qualification experience in the relevant field.
• In case of Trade apprentice program, preference will be given to a candidate with Craft Instructors Certificate (CIC).

Remuneration:

• For Category-I & II are Rs. 550.00 per hour and Rs. 225 per hour respectively
