Educational Qualification:

Teaching Positions

Associate Professor/Assistant Professor:

• PhD with first class or equivalent grade at the preceding degree in the appropriate branch with a very good academic record throughout
• Experience: At least 8 years/ 5 years of teaching/ research/ industrial experience

Administrative/ Non-Teaching Positions

Scientist/Technical Supervisor Grade – I:

• M.Sc./ M.Pharma/ M.V.Sc from a recognized University/Institute
• Experience: 4 years of experience

Administrative Officer:

• Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized Institute/ University.
• Experience: 5 years of experience

Secretary:

• Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized Institute/ University.
• Proficiency in typing in English with a minimum speed of 40 wpm
• Experience: 5 years of experience

Technical Assistant (Computer):

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences from a recognized University/Institute.
• Experience: 3 years of experience

Store Keeper:

• Bachelor’s degree in Science/ Commerce from a recognized University/Institute.
• Experience: 3 years of experience

Accountant:

• B.Com from a recognized University/institute
• Experience: 3 years of experience

Assistant Grade I (Administration):

• Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University/Institute.
• Experience: 2 years of experience

Assistant Grade-II ((Administration): Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university

Junior Technical Assistant: Senior Secondary (10+2) with Science Subject

Maximum Age Limit (as on 24.09.2020):

Teaching Positions

• Associate Professor: 45 years
• Assistant Professor: 40 years

Administrative/ Non-Teaching Positions

• Scientist/Technical Supervisor Grade – I/Secretary: 40 years
• Administrative Officer/ Technical Assistant ( Computer)/ Store Keeper/ Accountant/ Assistant Grade I/II: 35 years

• Administrative Officer/Secretary: Pay Level – 08 (7th CPC)
• Technical Assistant ( Computer)/ Store Keeper/ Accountant: Pay Level – 07 (7th CPC)
• Assistant Grade I (Administration): Pay Level – 06 (7th CPC)
• Assistant Grade-II ((Administration): Pay Level – 05 (7th CPC)
• Junior Technical Assistant: Pay Level – 04 (7th CPC)

NIPER Recruitment Selection Process for Teaching/Non-Teaching Positions:

For Teaching staff:

• Its consists of two phases Seminar Presentation and Interview.
• Only the candidates recommended by the Committee based on their performance in the seminar presentation shall attend the Interview before the Selection Panel.

For Non-Teaching /Administrative Posts:

• Its consist of Written Test and Trade Test followed by Interview before a duly constituted Committee.

Application Fee:

• For posts having Pay Level 10 and above: Rs.1000/-
• For posts having Pay Level 9 and below: Rs.750/-

Note: SC, ST, PwBD, Ex-Servicemen and women categories are not required to pay the application fee.
