NIRD Recruitment – Detailed Eligibility:

Educational Qualification:

For State Programme Coordinators/ Young Fellows:

• Post Graduate in Economics/ Rural Development/ Rural Management/ Political Science/ Sociology/ Social Work/ Development Studies and similar disciplines (the term on PG degree may be relaxed in case of Engineering graduates) from any recognized university.
• Experience: Five years’ first-hand experience for State Programme Coordinators posts
• Proficiency in writing and speaking English and Hindi.

Note: Minimum academic standards 60% marks in Secondary (Class X), 50% marks in Higher Secondary (Class XII)/Graduation/Post Graduation

For Cluster Level Resource Persons:

• Graduate in any subject from any recognized university.

Maximum Age limit:

• State Programme Coordinators: 30 – 50 years
• Young Fellows: 25 – 30 years
• Cluster Level Resource Persons: 40 years

Post Wise Vacancies: 510 Posts

• State Programme Coordinators: 10 posts
• Young Fellows: 250 posts
• Cluster Level Resource Persons: 250 posts

Pay Scale Details:

• State Programme Coordinators: Rs.55,000/-
• Young Fellows: Rs.35,000/-
• Cluster Level Resource Persons: Rs.12,500/-
